Solaire Inn & Suites

That was a nice place. Fair priced and close to amenities. The motel is not new but was clean and confortable. The front desk man was very friendly and gave us good information about the rest of our trip going to Big Sur.

Its hard to find an inexpensive room while traveling. In this case, I just want clean, safe, fairly convenient location, clean bathroom and hot water. No bugs, blood, stains, mold, or crappy gross smells. Solaire provided me a surprisingly large room, king bed. Sheets clean, no bugs, stains or hair. Pillows fluffed and pillowcases clean. Room well tended. Coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge all in room, clean and working. Soap provided in bathroom, towels white, clean, smell good. Bathroom surprisingly large and nice! Vinyl floor. Truth be told, the room is well worth what I paid...more, actually. Its got road noise, but acceptable. Its Safe. Clean. Rooms easily accomodate two adults. Grounds are tidy. Tended. Nothing fancy. No fountains or tables, some road noise, the AC/Heater system rattles and smells a bit funny for the first few minutes of start up. Its no Ritz. But your not PAYING for Ritz. And what you get for what you pay hits above its price point. I recommend for the budget conscious but still need clean and safe traveler. If the road noise was a little less pronounced, I'd give it 5 stars. (Its not terrible...but its still there.)

Five stars not because this is the best fanciest place, but because it is great value and a good stay, for the price youre paying its definitely better a motel 6. Owner was chill aswell. Located around many eateries so theres lowkey no downsides to this place. Bonus is I loved that there is only one floor so I dont gotta climb stairs and that the bathroom lights are motion sensors which are a small luxury.

Affordable, equipped with amenities, friendly, clean and well maintained. As a female solo traveler, safety is a priority. I felt safe throughout my two night stay. The front desk gentleman was very nice, helpful and courteous. I recommend and will be back. Thank you!!

This is a really cute quaint place. The manager Michael is an amazing person, very friendly and accommodating. Only flaw was that the floors in our room hadn't been swept (there is no carpet) so we got the bottoms of our feet dirty instantly. We walked around carefully and with shoes on after that. I think it was just an oversight, so I would return again.

The rooms were very clean and the service excellent, the prices very affordable and the location surrounded by shops and restaurants; in my experience, an excellent hotel

Great stay! Comfortable bed, clean room, and a quiet area. The room came with a fridge, microwave, plenty of pillows, and a hair dryer. Basic soaps/shampoos. Michael at the front desk was very nice and pleasant. Would stay here again!

I loved this little hotel. The owner was very nice and genuine. As a single traveler I value safety highly and I was so comfortable here. I had no problems with the room, the TV works and everything was super clean. Not to overshare but I have a phobia of bedbugs and I always thoroughly check every hotel bed I stay in and not only was the mattress bedbug free but it was very clean!!! Literally cleanest mattress at a hotel I’ve seen so far. Bed was comfortable and convenient charging stations next to the bed :)
